A railway line that operates along the south coast of the island, providing an excellent view of the sea. Open every day during Hampshire school holidays. It was created by the EHLR (East Hayling Light Railway) Society, who wished for the “Hayling Billy” line to be reinstated.

One of the Top 10 Hampshire Attractions, a host to a wide variety of activities. Situated just north of Havant. Home to a walking trail, orienteering, little hedgehogs’ nature club and cycling trail.

Hayling Donkey Sanctuary
A place of loving care and peace for ex working Donkeys and those in need of help.
Those who run it passionately believe they deserve a comfortable safe home, quality care and affection for the rest of their lives and are therefore developing such a place on Hayling Island.
Hayling Billy Trail
A famous track on the Island that is used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders along its eastern stretch. Information points along the trail, providing a learning opportunity for those interesting in the history of the trail (particularly in line with its railway). The trail also provides excellent view of the shoreline along the line and of the Portsmouth cityscape.
